African Elephants seen in Masai Mara, Kenya

During the Masai Mara safari, we saw a lone elephant standing under a tree. It was like he had lost his way and got separated from the pack. The guide told us that elephants only move in a herd. But when an elephant gets very old and is about to die, he leaves the group to keep the entire herd from slowing down.
